National Day for Truth and Reconciliation – office closure notice
September 17, 2026
Corporate
On September 30, we recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, honouring the children and survivors of residential schools, their families, and communities. As part of our commitment to learning, reflection, and reconciliation, all Gore Mutual offices will be closed on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
This day recognizes the children and survivors of residential schools, along with their families and communities, who continue to navigate the lasting impacts of this painful history. Acknowledging these truths is a vital step in Canada’s reconciliation journey.
As a purpose-driven insurer, Gore Mutual, commemorates this day by providing employees with the day off for reflection, learning, and meaningful engagement. As such, all our offices will be closed on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, however, claims support will remain available for customers.
If you have any questions, please contact your Business Development Representative. Thank you for your support.
