We’re improving homeowner personal property pricing in Ontario
We’re making strategic updates to our personal property pricing to help you quote more competitively, strengthen bundling opportunities, and deliver even greater value to your customers.

These changes take effect May 15, 2025, for new business and July 15, 2025, for renewals. They are part of our broader efforts to grow our presence in Ontario’s homeowner personal property market and support your success.

What’s changing?

  1. Territory-focused pricing updates
We’ve refined our pricing in select Ontario markets to improve rate competitiveness in areas where we see opportunity for growth. These adjustments are targeted and strategic.
  2. Enhanced bundling value
Our multi-line discount range is increasing, giving your customers more incentive to bundle home and auto with Gore Mutual — and making your quotes more competitive.
  3. Improved pricing based on the age of home
We’ve adjusted rates for homes aged 40–50 years, offering better options for customers with older, well-maintained properties.
  4. Reduction in pricing for electric heat
Customers with electric heating will benefit from a reduction in rating.

What this means for you and your customers
These changes are designed to help you grow your homeowner personal property business with Gore Mutual by offering more competitive rates and stronger value in key market segments.
