Members will vote on key merger resolutions; materials are online due to postal disruptions. Kingsdale Advisors is managing communications—here’s what you need to know.
Gore Mutual will hold a Special Meeting of Members on October 30, 2025. Members will vote on a special resolution authorizing the filing of a Québec Bill and the execution of an Organizational Agreement, both required to proceed with the proposed merger of Beneva and Gore Mutual. As a broker partner, you play a key role in supporting member and policyholder inquiries. This bulletin outlines the process and provides the information you need to respond confidently to any questions that may arise.
Due to the ongoing postal disruption, member materials will not be mailed physically. Instead, they are available online at https://www.gorememberform.ca. Members who selected electronic delivery have already received their materials via email. For those whose contact details are on file, Kingsdale Advisors, Gore Mutual’s independent registrar and Member Communication Specialist, is reaching out directly to advise where and how to access the materials.
Kingsdale Advisors is responsible for all member communications and serves as the primary contact for questions related to the meeting, voting, membership status, and the merger. If you receive inquiries from policyholders or brokers, please refer them to Kingsdale using the following contact details:
- Toll-free: 1-866-581-1479
- Text/call: 647-251-9741
- Email: goremember@kingsdaleadvisors.com
If a member or policyholder asks why they received materials or why Kingsdale contacted them, you can explain that, as a member of Gore Mutual, they are entitled to receive information about the upcoming meeting, and Kingsdale is responsible for ensuring they have access to it. For those who prefer to speak with someone at Gore Mutual directly, they may contact Sonya Stark at:
- Email: corporatesecretary@goremutual.ca
- Phone: 1-800-265-8600 or 519-623-1910 ext. 2701.
We appreciate your continued partnership and support. If you have any questions or require further clarification, please reach out to goremember@kingsdaleadvisors.com.
