Territorial definitions for IRCA are changing—effective Dec. 15, 2025 for new business and Feb. 1, 2026 for renewals. Manual clarifications on licensing terms are now available on GoBroker.

As part of our continued commitment to enhanced segmentation, we are updating the territorial definition for Individually Rated Commercial Auto (IRCA); this will align with a more sophisticated pricing framework. This is a 0% rate change overall.

Effective dates

  • New business: December 15, 2025
  • Renewals: February 1, 2026

Why it matters

Most territories will see a rating shift of plus or minus 10%, some may see a greater plus or minus shift based on individual risk characteristics.

Definition clarifications

Clarifications on the definition of ‘Years Licensed’ have been made to our broker manual. Please refer to the manual for full details.
