Spreading Good at IBAO
November 22, 2023
Corporate, Purpose
Purpose is in our DNA and extends to everything that we do. This is why we brought Purpose to the forefront at the 2023 IBAO’ Convention that took place last month in Toronto.
This year we featured events and experiences that focused on our Purpose: Insurance that Does Good - and we Spread Good by donating $25,000 to charity!
How we Spread Good at IBAO
Participating brokers were able to select one of our three charity partners to donate to throughout the event. These charities focus on either Climate Change (Nature Force), Poverty (Food4Kids Ontario) or Equity (The Get REAL Movement).
At our tradeshow booth, brokers were asked to select one of our charity partners, and we were happy to make a $20 donation to the chosen charity in their name - a total of $5,000 divided amongst our charity partners.
We also hosted an interactive Jeopardy game during our town hall - including a hidden “Daily Double” during each of the three sessions. Three brokers were asked to select one of our charity partners, and we then donated $5,000 in their name, for a grand total of $15,000.
We wrapped up the event at the House of Gore Mutual. The winner of our $500 grand prize was also able to select one of our charity partners, and again Gore Mutual was pleased to donate $5,000 in their name.
Based on attendees’ recommendations we donated:
