Keeping you informed: New updates to you and your customers during Canada Post National Strike

May 22, 2025
Corporate

Gore Mutual has implemented temporary measures in place to minimize service disruptions to your customers’ service.

As of Thursday, May 22, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers has advised members to refuse work beyond eight hours per day and 40 hours per week.

Canada Post has confirmed that there are no rotating strikes or nationwide work stoppages at this time, and postal operations will continue. However, potential delays may occur due to restricted work hours.

In light of this, we will continue to use Canada Post for mailing services and are closely monitoring developments. This update revises our previous notice shared in Broker Circle on Thursday, May 22. Should Canada Post’s position change, our processes may be adjusted accordingly.

We will keep our broker partners and customers informed through our website as new information becomes available.
