Gore Mutual in the community: Celebrating our collective impact

On Giving Tuesday, employees came together to make a meaningful difference through our recognition program. Paired with broker giving, these efforts created a powerful impact in communities and demonstrated how purpose truly delivers results.

We’re proud to spotlight what makes our culture truly unique: the way we come together to support one another and our communities.

Earlier this month, on Giving Tuesday, we proudly shared the results of our RISE and Shine campaign, where employees recognized each other on our internal platform while raising $75,000 for 18 deserving charities. Together, we surpassed our goal and proved that recognition and generosity go hand in hand.

In honour of International Day for Persons with Disabilities, we contributed an additional $25,000 to three organizations making a meaningful impact in the lives of people with disabilities. That brings us to a total of $100,000 granted this Giving Tuesday—a powerful reflection of our purpose: Insurance that does good. It’s the kind of commitment that makes people proud to be part of our organization.

We also recognize the incredible impact of our broker partners this year. Through the Brokers for Good program, we matched broker giving with donations totalling $152,500, creating a collective impact of $305,000 invested back into our communities. Together, we’re proving that when we unite around purpose, the results are extraordinary.

As we celebrate the holidays, we’re reminded that our strength lies in community and shared purpose. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this season brighter for our communities. You are key partners in amplifying our purpose.
