Together, they brought our purpose—Insurance that does good—to life and showed the power of coming together to spread good.

At Gore Mutual, Community Day is an annual opportunity for employees to volunteer with charitable organizations in the communities where we live and work. This year, more than 400 Gore Mutual employees supported over 35 charitable organizations across Canada and helped generate more than $110,000 in community impact.

From addressing food insecurity and environmental sustainability to supporting families, children and local community organizations, volunteers made a meaningful difference through a wide range of activities.

Some of the impact achieved across our volunteer efforts included:

  • Supporting the Food Bank of Waterloo Region by boxing and sorting 4,028 pounds of food, equivalent to 3,356 meals.
  • Packing 1,500 bags of rice and preparing 200 teacher appreciation gifts with Food4Kids Waterloo Region.
  • Planting 100 trees and supporting environmental restoration efforts with Reep Green Solutions.
  • Removing more than 50 bags of garbage from a Hamilton Conservation Area beach to help protect Lake Ontario.

These efforts are a powerful reflection of our commitment to making a difference beyond business. Together, volunteers helped strengthen communities, support local organizations and bring our purposeInsurance that does goodto life.
