On Friday, November 17, Gore Mutual hosted brokers in person at the Cambridge office and online for an expert-led panel, Navigating Insurance Realities as an Ontario Insurance Broker.
The event kicked off with two presentations by Gore Mutual experts. Raj Utraja, Chief Information and Security Officer and VP, Architecture, discussed AI's significance, its impact on brokers, pricing, and risk enhancement. Kevin Chong, Director, Pricing, focused on how CAT events, risk monitoring, data evolution, and technology affect pricing. The event concluded with a panel discussion led by Kate Hogan, Gore Mutual’s VP, Broker Engagement and Performance, featuring Paul Jackson, COO for Gore Mutual, Stefan Steciw, Senior Vice President, Strategic Growth Leader Canada & Caribbean, Reinsurance Solutions, Aon, and Eric Osborne, Chief Growth Officer at Navacord, addressing trending industry topics.
