We are committed to developing and delivering technology solutions that help you serve your clients better and raise their confidence in the insurance industry. Here are some examples of technology advances we've been proud to share with our broker partners:
1. Health Claims for Auto Insurance (HCAI) - This system allows for online submissions, review and approval of auto accident benefit claims. Not only does this mean more convenient access for your clients' healthcare practitioners, but it also assists the industry in monitoring results, identifying medical/rehabilitation trends, pricing products, and providing credible data to support insurance reforms. Gore Mutual is proud to have played a key role in the development of the HCAI system.
"Gore Mutual Insurance has taken a leadership role in the HCAI project," says Mark Yakabuski, Vice-President, Federal Affairs & Ontario, of the IBC. "During the testing phase Gore Mutual was one of the first to complete the integration technical component of HCAI and was one of two insurers to go live on the first day of production April 2, 2007. Their feedback and cooperation was instrumental to the success of our launch."
2. GoBroker - We are continually improving GoBroker based on your comments and suggestions. 3. Broker Management System Integration - Gore Mutual is working diligently to find ways for your broker management system to interact seamlessly with GoBroker. Did you know broker inquiry capability with GoBroker is available? Nexisys is a SEMCI (single entry, multiple company interface) solution providing single sign-on and policy inquiry functionality between your broker management system and GoBroker. Currently the systems supported are SigXP, ComXP and Powerbroker. Gore Mutual has also joined Policy Works' Certified Data-Exchange Program, in order to deliver a broker management system integration solution. 4. Document Management - Gore Mutual is the leader in our industry when it comes to operating in a paperless environment. All of our frontline operations are paperless! This greater improves our speed of service to you. We are pleased to have had several brokers visit our operation to learn more about how this technology can help improve customer service and broker efficiency. In June, Gore Mutual hosted the Canadian Association of Mutual Insurance Companies' (CAMIC) IT Networking Group and shared information about our document imaging and workflow technology.
5. Data Quality - Gore Mutual is the recipient of the 2007 Data Quality Award from the Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC), for the third year in a row. We have worked hard to make sure our processes and systems offer the highest quality and accuracy of data, and we are proud to be recognized for our efforts. In June, Joe Allen, Manager of Systems Development at Gore Mutual, was invited to share our successes at IBC's Data Quality Forum.
