Ross is responsible for the employee related initiatives at Gore Mutual. This includes attracting and hiring new employees, helping them develop skills through training, as well as creating an environment that allows them to excel and enhance their career. Ross is also responsible for our unique head office in Cambridge.  Our building reflects the history of the oldest mutual property and casualty insurance company in Canada, with a modern day approach to business and people. Ross started in the insurance industry as an Underwriter and wore a number of hats before finding a department that would keep him, or as he likes to say, found his true calling in Human Resources. He is probably one of the few HR people with both an insurance and a HR designation having achieved his Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and his Chartered Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designations.
