Gore Mutual Foundation
Gore Mutual is proud to support Canadian communities through the Gore Mutual Insurance Company Foundation.
The Foundation's mission is to support the communities served by Gore Mutual Insurance Company by aiding social services, education, health, cultural and environmental activities as may be in the best interest of these communities.
The Foundation's values include:
- Promoting strong communities in areas where Gore Mutual Insurance Company does business.
- Making effective grants that make a difference.
- Granting funds to effective, well-managed charities with reasonable administrative and fundraising costs.
- Giving grants for general purposes as well as specific health and educational projects.
- Giving grants to organizations that promote the interests of Gore Mutual as well as the public.
The Foundation was incorporated in 1998 under the Canadian Corporations Act and is a registered private charitable foundation under the Income Tax Act. All funding is provided by Gore Mutual Insurance Company. Our goal is to make the Gore Mutual Foundation one of Canada's largest so that we can support even more communities.
